Job Description:

As Warranty Administrator for Cars2, you will be reporting to the Service Manager & Group Aftersales Manager and duties will include:

• Assisting with progressing warranty claims across the Barnsley and Wakefield dealerships.
• Coordinating the accuracy of warranty claims across the Barnsley and Wakefield dealerships.
• Ensure documentation for warranty for the Cars2 Wakefield and re-call activity is completed and accurately stored in line with the Company procedure.
• Invoice and cost all jobs, advise Line Managers of any variance to agreed levels and targets including operating an accurate spreadsheet
• Ensure all customer data is sorted and handled securely in line with Company and legal requirements.
• Action any warranty discrepancies to guarantee full payment is made
• Speak to the manufacturer on any issues or rejected claims

Skills Required:

• A successful applicant will have excellent IT skills and at least 1 year\’s previous experience of administration.
• Fast learner, as awareness of current business processes and ability to suggest improvements to increase efficiency and service.
• Ability to meet all deadlines as set by the Line Manager and company procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain professional working relationships across the group and to contribute to the excellent levels of customer service provided by the Service team.
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety procedures including wearing protective clothing, where appropriate.
• Organised and ability to prioritise workload in a busy and pressured environment in order stay on top of all the administration that goes with the role It is essential that all paperwork is accurate so you will have a good eye for detail and a good working knowledge of current Warranty processes.
• An eye for detail whilst working at an efficient level.
