Step into a high‑impact role at the heart of the baking aisle. As our Category Manager for Home Baking Flour, you’ll lead one of the most dynamic segments in the market—using consumer insight, retailer partnerships, and sharp commercial thinking to shape winning category strategies, optimise ranges, and drive profitable growth for both our business and our retail customers.

Location: Silloth or Kirkcaldy as your primary location with UK based travel requirements

Salary: Competitive + additional benefits + travel expenses outside of primary location

Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The role: In this role, you’ll help shape an insight‑led category strategy for home baking flour, turning market data and consumer trends into clear, purposeful actions. You’ll lead range reviews, build thoughtful merchandising plans, and identify new product opportunities that meet real shopper needs. As a trusted partner to our retail customers, you’ll share compelling category stories, support joint business planning, and help influence key decisions across range, price, and promotion. Working closely with colleagues in Marketing, NPD, Supply Chain, and Finance, you’ll ensure our plans land smoothly and support long‑term growth, all while keeping the category inspiring, relevant, and commercially strong.

About you: Proven experience as a Category Manager / Category Executive and a Marketing background in FMCG, ideally within bakery, ambient grocery, or related food categories. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Nielsen/IRI/Kantar and retailer data systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated success in managing category reviews with major UK retailers. Commercially minded with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations. Understanding of the home baking market, including seasonal trends and shopper motivations. Experience working with global or national flour brands or private-label suppliers. Knowledge of planogramming tool. Passion for consumer food trends and innovation.
