Are you an organised, detail-driven professional with a passion for people and processes? We are looking for a confident and experienced HR Administrator to join our dynamic People Team and play a key role in supporting our employees across the full employee lifecycle.

THE JOB
As our HR Administrator, you'll be the go-to person for all things payroll, training, and employee records. Based in our Rosehill Head Office, Carlisle, your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping employee files and databases accurate, compliant with Employment Legislation, and up to date.
- Collating and checking monthly payroll data to ensure everyone is paid correctly and on time, in line with the payroll calendars.
- Acting as the first point of contact for payroll queries.
- Performing robust checks on payroll data, ensuring that exceptions, overtime, commissions, pension contributions, holidays, and absences are accurately recorded.
- Managing training records to ensure all staff are fully trained and compliant.
- Registering new starters and leavers on our Occupational Health platform and managing recall reports.
- Running reports from our payroll and benefits platforms to ensure accurate headcount and overtime tracking.
- Providing key documents to employees throughout their employee lifecycle with us (e.g. probation and sickness trigger reports).
- Notifying IT of job title changes to keep systems aligned.
- Supporting recruitment activities such as posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and updating our applicant tracking system.
- Keeping the organisational chart and intranet up to date.
- Helping to maintain a positive workplace culture through proactive support across the People Team.
- Ensuring GDPR compliance in all employee records.
- Confidently and accurately answering employee queries by staying familiar with company policies.
- Maintaining a user-friendly intranet page to support employee self-service.
- Supporting reward and benefits administration.
- Preparing people data to help the business make informed decisions.
- Following all company policies, especially those related to health, safety, and the environment.
