We are seeking a highly motivated and organised HGV Night loader / Shunter driver to join our dynamic team at our Stone Mill at Cold Meece. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone who is organised and passionate about keeping to time frames. The successful individual will enjoy serving and supporting the Rural and Agricultural industry, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and standards are achieved.

The Job:
- To operate the companies HGV vehicles on site, and to load finished products or tip raw materials from/to the mill.
- Along with efficient and effective operation of the weighbridge, ensure samples are taken, use IT systems to record receipts and dispatches, and ensure vehicles are loaded according to plan.
- To operate the FLT in the warehouse environment to load/unload tote bins and follow warehouse process.
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded in accordance with the distribution plan and driver instructions, and documentation is stored correctly for delivery.
- Ensure that all appropriate checks, documentation and system work is completed accurately and timely in line with the relevant process.
- Ensure all vehicles are inspected to ensure that no contamination of feed stuffs occurs.
- To support with the hygiene of vehicles both internally and externally when required.
- Operate and control the Mill Bulk Intake system for Raw Materials, ensuring relevant checks and records are made as per the process.
- Maintain a safe working environment through good housekeeping and clean as you go practices.
- To communicate effectively and clearly with other team members (Mill, Transport, Warehouse, Weighbridge) to plan and organise your work, and ensure issues are reported accordingly.
- Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.
- To ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.
- Ensure the achievement of feed safety is always a priority.
- Take a proactive approach to your own continuous development and learning.
- Adopt a flexible approach to cover absenteeism/demand and work required in other areas/locations to meet the needs of the business.
- Ensure that the TASCC code of practice, and company procedures are followed in respect of loading vehicles, record keeping and documentation.
Skills, Experience And Qualities Required:
- Essential:
- Cat B (Car) Licence
- FLT Licence - Or able to achieve one through training.
- Experience of operating industrial Machinery / Equipment / Weighbridge.
- Computer Literate.
- Able to follow process and procedure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desirable:
- C + E Driving Licence
- Warehouse Operations Experience
- Experience of vehicles & loads.
- Experience in Food/Agriculture Industry.
