An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Finance team as an AAT Apprentice. This role involves a 3-year rotation within the Finance Department to experience and learn about different sectors.

The Job
The role involves providing efficient administrative and clerical support to the finance function. As an AAT apprentice, you will undertake a development programme comprising three placement rotations, exposing you to key departments: Accounts Payable, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Financial Reporting & Control.
- Creating and maintaining supplier accounts.
- Reviewing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Allocating direct debit and proforma payments to minimize unallocated payments.
- Verifying invoice accuracy and correct coding.
- Ensuring timely approval of invoices for payment.
- Building relationships with suppliers by responding to queries promptly.
- Adhering to processes, controls, and compliance standards.
- Assisting with management reporting and annual budgets.
- Supporting process and system development.
- Promoting continuous improvement in financial processes.
- Producing weekly and monthly KPI reports.
- Following company policies, including safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice, such as UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS schemes.
