A science-led, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Medical Writer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical and regulatory documentation for innovative oncology programmes.

The Role

You will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across a broad range of clinical and regulatory writing deliverables. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure documents are scientifically robust, regulator-ready, and delivered to high quality standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the authoring of complex regulatory and clinical documents, including CSRs, protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, CTD modules, and briefing books
  • Drive consistency of scientific messaging across programmes and submissions
  • Act as the medical writing representative on study and programme teams
  • Plan, draft, review, and finalise documents in line with global regulatory requirements
  • Interpret and integrate clinical, statistical, and safety data into clear narratives
  • Manage document review cycles and resolve cross-functional comments
  • Oversee outsourced writing activities, including vendor management and quality control

About You

  • 6+ years’ experience in medical or regulatory writing within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments
  • Strong experience authoring major regulatory and clinical documents
  • Oncology experience highly desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of ICH guidelines and global regulatory standards
  • Experience supporting IND/CTA and marketing authorisation submissions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight timelines
