Carrot Recruitment are pleased to be exclusively supporting a growing, family-owned dental implants company to appoint a Clinical Specialist/Territory Sales Manager to further develop its presence across South West England and South Central.

This is a clinically focused, relationship-led role within a business that has enjoyed significant growth over the past 7 years and is widely regarded as a trusted partner to specialist clinicians.

Everything you need to know about the role

This is a field-based territory role where you’ll be responsible for developing and managing sales of a specialist dental implant portfolio so a full UK driving license is a must. You’ll work closely with dentists, implant surgeons and specialist clinicians, not just promoting products, but supporting them clinically and technically, including hands-on support during dental surgery when required.

  • Promote a unique, evidence-based dental implant portfolio
  • Support customers with product training and clinical guidance, including chairside support
  • Build long-term relationships and be seen as a knowledgeable, trusted partner
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across your territory
  • Manage and grow existing accounts through regular, value-led engagement
  • Cover South West England into South Central (this role does not include London or South Wales)

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

  • Dental or medical device sales, or clinical background such as dental nursing or dental technology
  • A relevant science or life sciences degree
  • You’ll likely be: Tenacious, driven and comfortable working independently
  • Confident building rapport quickly with clinicians
  • Interested in the clinical side of dentistry and complex cases
  • Comfortable being field-based and travelling across a large territory
  • Professional, ethical and customer-focused
  • An understanding of dental implants or dentistry is highly beneficial, but not essential — full product training and ongoing support will be provided.

As this is a field based role, it is essential that the candidates currently live in one of the following areas - Berkshire; Hampshire; Wiltshire; Somerset; Dorset or Devon.

Could this be the role for you?

If you enjoy being out in the field, value long-term relationships over transactional sales, and want to work in a role where your input genuinely matters, this could be a fantastic next step.
