Are you an organised, proactive resource manager or resource coordinator with experience in healthcare communications, creative marketing or advertising? We are looking for a Resource Manager to join a dynamic and collaborative team, ensuring the right people are in the right place to deliver outstanding work for clients.
You will be at the heart of planning, coordinating, and optimising resource allocation across medical writing and editing teams, balancing short-term project demands with long-term planning and supporting both internal teams and freelance talent.

- Manage allocation of projects across medical writing and editing teams, matching skills and availability to project requirements.
- Forecast and plan resource needs in collaboration with project leads and department heads.
- Source, onboard and manage freelance or contract talent, negotiating rates and contracts.
- Build and maintain networks of trusted external resources.
- Monitor capacity, utilisation and identify gaps or opportunities to optimise workflow.
- Contribute to process improvements, tools and systems for better resource management.
- Foster communication and transparency across teams to support smooth project delivery.
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit:
- Proven experience in resource management, traffic management or project operations within a healthcare communications, advertising, or creative marketing agency.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and medical communications workflows.
- Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in resource management or scheduling tools (e.g., Float, Monday.com, or similar).
- Commercially aware, proactive and able to balance client needs with operational efficiency.
- Collaborative, approachable, solution-oriented and calm under pressure.
