This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing specialist healthcare communications agency delivering high-profile virtual, digital and face-to-face programmes for global pharmaceutical clients. Working across a mix of medical education, events and multichannel engagement projects, you’ll become a key part of a collaborative client services team - taking ownership of projects, building client relationships and helping deliver impactful programmes across a variety of therapy areas.

Everything you need to know about the role:

As an Account Manager, you’ll act as the central coordinator across multiple client projects — ensuring programmes are delivered smoothly, on time and to the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with Account Directors and internal scientific, digital and creative teams, while also supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.

Projects will include a mix of:

  • Virtual and face-to-face meetings and events
  • Medical education programmes
  • Multichannel promotional campaigns
  • Digital engagement projects
  • Congress activity and speaker programmes

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day client communications and project delivery
  • Developing timelines, trackers, status reports and project plans
  • Coordinating internal teams including scientific, digital, design and production
  • Supporting the delivery of virtual and live events, webinars and congress activity
  • Reviewing promotional materials and ensuring brand consistency
  • Managing approval processes including systems such as Veeva
  • Monitoring budgets, supplier costs and project profitability
  • Identifying project risks and proactively finding solutions
  • Supporting and mentoring Account Executives within the team
  • Ensuring projects are delivered compliantly within ABPI guidelines

This role offers increasing ownership, client exposure and strategic involvement as your experience develops.

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit:

You’ll already have experience within a healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical communications agency environment and be looking for the next step in your career. You’ll bring:

  • At least 2 years’ experience within a healthcare or medical communications agency
  • Experience delivering healthcare events, medical education or digital projects
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical clients and healthcare professionals
  • Understanding of ABPI compliance processes
  • Ideally some exposure to systems such as Veeva

You’ll be proactive, solutions-focused and someone who enjoys building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. This role would suit a confident SAE who is already operating at AM level and ready for the title and responsibility to match.

What’s on offer?

  • Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
  • Annual company bonus
  • Hybrid working – 3 days a week in Central London offices
  • Exposure to a broad range of pharmaceutical brands and therapy areas
  • Excellent progression and development opportunities
  • Opportunity to attend UK and international events and congresses
  • Supportive, collaborative agency culture
  • 30+ days annual leave
  • The chance to join a well-established specialist agency with an excellent reputation in healthcare communications
