We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced market access or life sciences consultant to step into a leadership role, driving client engagements, business development and commercial growth within a fast-growing global consultancy. This role offers the chance to lead high-impact projects, manage client relationships and shape strategy for pharmaceutical and med-tech organisations across international markets.
My client is an independent, full-service, global market access consultancy supporting pharmaceutical and medical technology companies across the UK, Europe and North America, helping them navigate complex healthcare markets and deliver value-driven solutions.
The role will:
- Lead and manage high-quality consulting engagements for global life sciences clients
- Lead business development initiatives, building and maintaining client relationships, attending conferences, and reactivating new and existing clients
- Oversee project delivery, supporting junior team members and managing client communication
- Provide internal training initiatives, workshops, mentorship to junior and experienced colleagues
- Actively support the senior leadership team, contributing to decision making and improving efficiencies
- Identify new commercial opportunities and contribute to strategic proposal development
- Play a key role in driving business growth within the UK and EU cluster
Experience and qualities that make you a good fit:
- 5–7+ years’ experience within life sciences consulting or a relevant industry role
- Strong project leadership and team management experience
- Experience working across global healthcare markets
- Proven business development experience, with the ability to build strong client relationships and manage multiple stakeholders
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment
