Carron Connected is searching for a field-based Facilities Maintenance Technician / Refrigeration Engineer to service customers across Northern Ireland.

What You'll Do:

  • Respond to Helpdesk service requests, carrying out reactive repairs and minor works.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems in line with contractual requirements.
  • Maintain accurate asset registers, ensuring all equipment is tagged and documented.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, including pack systems and control mechanisms.
  • Oversee subcontractor attendance, ensuring work is completed to agreed standards and within budget.
  • Carry out remedial works, minor alterations, and installations as required across client sites.
  • Advise on capital purchases and support surveys and reporting activities.
  • Prioritise maintenance tasks to meet response times, escalating delays to supervisors or managers when necessary.
  • Coordinate third-party contractor visits for specialist repairs or quotations, providing clear job specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client site teams.

What You'll Need:

  • Certification in F-Gas Handling (Cat 1 – City & Guilds 2079)
  • Proven refrigeration or air conditioning facilities maintenance experience in the construction industry
