We are searching for an Estimator to join our client, a London based M&E services contractor. As the estimator you will shape proposals by gathering technical details, understanding project constraints, and coordinating with key stakeholders, overseeing projects from initial tender documentation through to a submission-ready package.
What You'll Do:
- Produce accurate, timely estimates and tender submissions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Review client enquiries and documentation in full, defining scope, assessing risks, and managing all required information and queries.
- Prepare structured tender proposals, including take-offs, measurements, supplier/subcontract enquiries, and quotation analysis to recommend best-value.
- Contribute programme information to planners, track tender progress, and ensure all deadlines and approval stages are met.
- Present bid scope and key assumptions at settlement meetings, enabling informed senior management decision-making.
- Maintain high levels of commercial confidentiality, adhere to all company policies.
- Engage with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, representing the company at meetings and interviews.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation, including the trial and adoption of new estimating tools and processes.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years as an Estimator in the M&E sector.
- Mechanical or electrical qualification.
- Experience using Amtech software.
