Carroll County Memorial Hospital’s role is to improve the health and well-being of the residents and visitors to Carroll County and surrounding counties, by providing quality, compassionate, cost effective and convenient health care through community leadership and in collaboration with other healthcare organizations which serve our communities.

Hourly Full Time: 40 hours per week

LPN starting at $24/hr

Physical Location: Bedford Family Practice, 470 US 421, Bedford, KY 40006

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Uphold CCMH’s Core Values of Respect, Compassion, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence
  • Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient and family interactions to care for patients
  • Measure vital signs on each patient upon presentation to clinic
  • Administer medications as ordered by providers while maintaining the 5 Rights
  • Document accurately in the patient’s electronic medical record
  • Reconcile patient medication lists
  • Contact patients regarding important messages about medications, test results, and other general medical information
  • Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA requirements
  • Other duties as assigned within scope of practice

Qualifications, Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring:

  • Qualified candidates should be a graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant Program
  • Current licensure in the State of Kentucky or certificate in medical assisting
  • CPR Certification required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
