We're partnering with a fast-growing digital consultancy that designs and delivers high-quality web applications for a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors including technology, financial services, e-commerce and digital products.

About the Role

They're looking for an experienced React Developer to join their engineering team on an initial 6-month contract.

You'll work closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers to build modern, scalable applications, contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Developing high-quality front-end applications using React and Type Script.
  • Building reusable, maintainable UI components.
  • Working on greenfield development as well as enhancing existing applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Writing clean, testable and well-documented code.
  • Participating in code reviews and helping maintain engineering best practices.
  • Working directly with clients and internal stakeholders where required.

Qualifications

Strong commercial experience with React. js.

  • Required Skills
  • Good knowledge of Type Script, Java Script (ES6+) and modern front-end development.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API or similar.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
  • Previous consultancy or agency experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Next. js.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working on large-scale, customer-facing applications.
  • Pay range and compensation package

Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension.

Up to £400 per day Outside IR35.

Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the London office.
