Senior Project & Technical Manager β Redruth, Cornwall β Permanent π° Pay: circa Β£54,000 + Benefits π Location: Redruth, Cornwall β Hybrid with regular site visits across the region π Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) π Start: Flexible for the right person Are you an experienced property professional with a proven track record in delivering large-scale investment and maintenance projects? Carrington Wood is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a Senior Project & Technical Manager. This senior leadership role will see you manage a multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering major works, planned maintenance, and capital improvement programmes, all while ensuring safety, quality, and excellent value for money. What Youβll Be Doing: β Leading, motivating, and developing the Projects and Technical Management team to deliver planned/cyclical maintenance and major works programmes (including roof, kitchen, bathroom, window & door replacements, painting & repairs) β Ensuring all works meet health and safety regulations, organisational standards, and contractual obligations from inception to completion β Overseeing contract re-procurement and exploring opportunities to bring works in-house where appropriate β Conducting site visits and post-inspections to ensure quality, specification compliance, and reduction of defects and costs β Managing project budgets, monitoring spend, and ensuring cost-effective delivery without compromising quality β Providing technical expertise across development, asset management, and maintenance activities β Coordinating with specialist consultants (e.g. fire safety) and internal teams to ensure compliance and best practice β Identifying and proactively managing project risks, ensuring robust mitigation strategies are in place β Driving improvements in health & safety practice, compliance standards, and customer satisfaction What Weβre Looking For: π‘ Strong knowledge of construction methodology, Building Regulations, and housing compliance (HHSRS, asbestos, fire, gas, electrical, legionella, lifts) π‘ Experience delivering large-scale property investment and maintenance programmes in housing, construction, or related sectors π‘ Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage a multi-disciplinary team π‘ Understanding of CDM Regulations, planning, procurement processes, and contract law principles π‘ Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIOB, RICS) or equivalent senior property management experience π‘ Excellent project management, organisational, and analytical skills π‘ Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Cornwall Why Youβll Love This Role: β Make a tangible difference to the safety, comfort, and quality of homes β Competitive salary and benefits package β Hybrid working with flexibility to balance site visits and home working β Join a values-driven organisation committed to quality, safety, and community impact β Ongoing professional development and CPD opportunities π Apply now for a confidential conversation about this Senior Project & Technical Manager role in Redruth, Cornwall.
