Carrington Wood is delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services firm as they seek to appoint a Business Advisory Manager. This is a varied and impactful opportunity offering autonomy, progression, and the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and developing strong client relationships across a varied portfolio
- Acting as a trusted advisor, providing tax, accounting, and commercial guidance
- Reviewing working papers, accounts, and tax compliance
- Monitoring budgets, time allocations, and project costs
- Resolving technical accounting and tax queries
- Ensuring compliance with internal standards and quality frameworks
- Identifying opportunities to add further value for clients
- Discussing key findings with senior leadership
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, helping shape their professional development
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) OR qualified by experience
- Experience managing your own portfolio and supporting senior stakeholders
- Strong technical expertise in accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Proven background supervising, coaching, or developing accounts teams
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage your time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly
- A collaborative approach and passion for delivering high-quality client service
