People Advisor
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next opportunity within an established and supportive organisation?
We are currently supporting a well-established organisation with the appointment of a People Advisor to provide professional HR advice and support across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working across a broad range of employee relations matters and is confident providing practical advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers across the organisation
- Managing and progressing a varied employee relations caseload
- Advising on disciplinary, performance, grievance and absence matters
- Supporting formal and informal employee relations processes
- Supporting investigations, including gathering evidence and preparing reports
- Advising on areas including flexible working, organisational change and other employment matters
- Supporting the implementation and review of HR policies and procedures
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing HR guidance and training where required
- Producing HR reports and maintaining accurate employee records
- Supporting recruitment and selection processes
- Building strong relationships with managers, employees and key stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
- Significant experience working within an HR advisory position
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing a varied caseload
- Good knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience providing advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence dealing with challenging and sensitive situations
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Experience using HR systems and producing reports
