Finance Manager – Falmouth – circa 3 Month Interim Contract (Potential to Extend)
Hourly Rate: £19 - £23 per hour
Location: Falmouth, Cornwall

This Interim Finance Manager position offers the opportunity to support an exciting, fast-growing organisation during a key phase, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to core financial reporting and controls.
We are supporting a valued and rapidly expanding client seeking an Interim Finance Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working across all areas of transactional finance while also supporting month-end duties, analysis, and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function
- Managing Accounts Payable including invoice processing, payments and supplier queries
- Overseeing Accounts Receivable, raising sales invoices and managing debtors
- Handling Payroll processes and liaising with payroll providers
- Completing bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and petty cash management
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, additions, disposals and depreciation
- Managing expenses, purchase orders and supplier onboarding
- Supporting cashflow monitoring, forecasting inputs and weekly reporting
- Posting journals including accruals, prepayments and month-end adjustments
- Assisting with the monthly management accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Providing financial analysis and supporting senior finance with ad-hoc reporting
- Ensuring strong financial controls, accuracy and process improvements
- Supporting year-end preparations and auditor queries where required
