Carrington Wood is pleased to be supporting a respected and busy organisation as they look to add an Assistant Accountant to support their finance team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to jump into a hands-on finance role, keep things running smoothly, and gain valuable exposure across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts
- Supporting with transactional finance and month-end duties
- Collaborating with colleagues across departments
- Getting involved with ad hoc tasks, including some that may fall outside of finance
- Helping to keep finance processes ticking over efficiently and accurately
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a finance role (practice background beneficial, but not essential)
- AAT qualification would be desirable, but not essential
- A proactive, reliable team player who enjoys being busy and helping out wherever needed
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
