Location: Near Falmouth – Office based
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) – Part-time applications welcomed
Start: ASAP
Contract: 1 month rolling basis

Carrington Wood is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established business based near Falmouth, in their search for a Payroll Assistant to join them on a temporary basis (month-by-month rolling contract). This role will suit someone confident with weekly and monthly payroll who can provide accurate, efficient support from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
Preparing and posting journal entries
Handling payroll queries promptly and professionally
Supporting with ad hoc payroll tasks as needed
Assisting with other areas of the wider business function if required

What We’re Looking For:
Experience in processing both weekly and monthly payroll
Strong understanding of payroll legislation and reporting requirements
High levels of accuracy and organisation
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Availability to start at short notice
