This position will lead procurement, stores, and logistics activities across several UK and international locations, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional level of internal support.
What You'll Be Doing:- Leading, developing, and mentoring a multiâsite supply chain and stores team
- Setting departmental goals, KPIs, and performance standards
- Managing procurement of parts, consumables, tooling, equipment, and contracted services
- Negotiating with suppliers and overseeing contract and performance management
- Implementing strategies to optimise cost, lead times, and supply chain resilience
- Overseeing inventory management, forecasting, accuracy, and stock integrity
- Ensuring stores and logistics processes meet internal quality and compliance standards
- Managing shipping, distribution, import/export processes and urgent operational requests
- Overseeing equipment/tooling calibration programmes
- Driving the effective use of ERP/MRP systems
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives and supporting audit activity
- Acting as a key point of contact for supply chain matters across the organisation
- Providing oversight of general facilities matters and coordinating thirdâparty services
- Significant experience in supply chain, procurement, stores, or logistics management
- Proven leadership of multiâsite or complex operational teams
- Strong supplier management and contract negotiation skills
- Comfortable working within regulated or qualityâdriven environments
- Confident using ERP/MRP systems to drive efficiency
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication abilities
