Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting / Office Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while supporting the smooth running of the business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and long-established organisation, working closely with senior leadership across finance, administration and business operations. What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
- Processing invoices, banking transactions and reconciliations
- Preparing non-statutory management accounts and supporting budgeting activities
- Producing financial reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel
- Managing office administration and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office
- Supporting business planning and development initiatives
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate financial records and strong financial controls
- Researching opportunities and identifying ways to improve business processes
- Providing administrative and operational support across the wider business
What We're Looking For:
- AAT Level 3 qualification or above (desirable)
- Strong experience within an accounts or finance role
- Previous bookkeeping and financial management experience
- Strong experience using Xero (desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working within an SME environment
- Previous office management or business administration experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
