You'll support the Financial Controller and be involved in a wide range of financial processes, from payroll and VAT to reconciliations and management reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with detail, solving problems and contributing to a high‑performing finance function.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Completing weekly bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Supporting with purchase invoice processing when required
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns for multi‑country registrations
- Working closely with budget holders to monitor and control costs
- Supporting year‑end statutory accounts and external audit processes
- Contributing to annual budgeting and financial forecasting
- Processing monthly payroll and handling related queries
- Managing payroll payments including PAYE, social taxes and pension contributions
- Calculating sales commissions and bonus payments in line with company policy
What We’re Looking For
- AAT qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience in a similar finance or accounting role
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Microsoft Office
- Clear, confident communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised, self‑motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
- A reliable and committed approach to work
