Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting / Office Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while supporting the smooth running of the business. What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
  • Processing invoices, banking transactions and reconciliations
  • Preparing non-statutory management accounts and supporting budgeting activities
  • Producing financial reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Managing office administration and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office
  • Supporting business planning and development initiatives
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and strong financial controls
  • Researching opportunities and identifying ways to improve business processes
  • Providing administrative and operational support across the wider business

What We're Looking For

  • AAT Level 3 qualification or above (desirable)
  • Strong experience within an accounts or finance role
  • Previous bookkeeping and financial management experience
  • Strong experience using Xero (desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working within an SME environment
  • Previous office management or business administration experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
