People Advisor 💼 Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 📍 Location: Callington, Cornwall 📅 Contract: Permanent Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next opportunity within an established and supportive organisation? We are currently supporting a well-established organisation with the appointment of a People Advisor to provide professional HR advice and support across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working across a broad range of employee relations matters and is confident providing practical advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders. What You'll Be Doing ✔ Providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers across the organisation ✔ Managing and progressing a varied employee relations caseload ✔ Advising on disciplinary, performance, grievance and absence matters ✔ Supporting formal and informal employee relations processes ✔ Supporting investigations, including gathering evidence and preparing reports ✔ Advising on areas including flexible working, organisational change and other employment matters ✔ Supporting the implementation and review of HR policies and procedures ✔ Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives ✔ Providing HR guidance and training where required ✔ Producing HR reports and maintaining accurate employee records ✔ Supporting recruitment and selection processes ✔ Building strong relationships with managers, employees and key stakeholders What We're Looking For 💡 CIPD Level 5 or equivalent 💡 Significant experience working within an HR advisory position 💡 Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing a varied caseload 💡 Good knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice 💡 Experience providing advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders 💡 Strong verbal and written communication skills 💡 Confidence dealing with challenging and sensitive situations 💡 Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills 💡 A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach 💡 Strong organisation and time management skills 💡 Experience using HR systems and producing reports Why You'll Love This Role ✔ £38,000 - £42,000 salary ✔ Permanent, full-time position ✔ Established and supportive organisation ✔ Varied HR advisory role ✔ Opportunity to work closely with managers and senior stakeholders ✔ Opportunity to contribute to HR projects and improvements ✔ Professional development opportunities ✔ A role offering variety and the opportunity to make a genuine impact 📩 Interested?
