Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in highways and civil engineering projects? We are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to support the delivery of a major highway improvement scheme in Warrington.

About the Role:

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors, and ensuring the successful delivery of works on behalf of the client.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supervising the site team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Planning and coordinating site activities, resources and workforce requirements
  • Carrying out daily site briefings and monitoring ongoing works
  • Maintaining accurate site records, reports and project documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
  • Attending weekly client meetings and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Managing subcontractors and supporting effective communication across all parties
  • Working within NEC contract requirements and project procedures

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience working as a Site Agent or similar role within civil engineering and highways projects
  • Strong workforce supervision and site management experience
  • A good understanding of NEC contracts and project delivery processes
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail

Essential Requirements:

  • SMSTS qualification
  • Highways Passport
  • First aid qualification
  • Experience delivering highways and civil engineering works
