Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in highways and civil engineering projects? We are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to support the delivery of a major highway improvement scheme in Warrington.
About the Role:
As Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors, and ensuring the successful delivery of works on behalf of the client.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising the site team to ensure successful project delivery
- Planning and coordinating site activities, resources and workforce requirements
- Carrying out daily site briefings and monitoring ongoing works
- Maintaining accurate site records, reports and project documentation
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Attending weekly client meetings and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Managing subcontractors and supporting effective communication across all parties
- Working within NEC contract requirements and project procedures
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience working as a Site Agent or similar role within civil engineering and highways projects
- Strong workforce supervision and site management experience
- A good understanding of NEC contracts and project delivery processes
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
Essential Requirements:
- SMSTS qualification
- Highways Passport
- First aid qualification
- Experience delivering highways and civil engineering works
