My client is a multi-discipline consultancy providing engineering, design and surveying expertise to the construction industry, with the skills to offer professional advice through all stages of a project and with strong experience across all sectors.
The Geomatics team is currently expanding with a requirement for a Utility Mapping Surveyor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct underground utility detection surveys in compliance with PAS 128 standards and health & safety regulations
- Use a variety of Utility Detection equipment and processing software
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects effectively and efficiently
- Take an active role in site Health & Safety
- Maintain detection equipment
- Process and analyse collected data using CAD and GIS software, ensuring high accuracy and quality
- Ensuring quality throughout the process in line with QA protocols
- Enhance and promote the image of the company by their actions
Key skills & experience
- The successful candidate will be positive, enthusiastic and a hard worker. In addition, the candidate must:
- Have previous experience in a similar position within a survey environment, with proven experience delivering utility surveys
- In-depth knowledge of the PAS 128 standards
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Be flexible and reliable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and meet deadlines
- Happy to stay away on location
- Hold a full clean driving license valid for a full manual vehicle
