Location: Oxfordshire
Duration: 6 months (1-2 years worth of work)
Rate: £400 - £450/day (depending on experience)

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor delivering works on HS2, and they are currently seeking a Site Engineer with strong earthworks, drainage or structures experience to join their team.
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting construction operations on site, managing junior engineers, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting out and overseeing works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors
- Resolving technical issues in liaison with the senior engineering team
- Assisting with short-term planning, progress reporting, resource planning, and cost control
- Ensuring site teams have the correct and up-to-date information to carry out their duties
Requirements:
- HNC or degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven Site Engineering experience on earthworks, drainage or structure packages.
- Strong setting out experience on ideally a major project.
