Our client is looking for a Transport Planning Consultant to join their expanding Transport and Development Planning team in Reading.
The successful candidate will provide clients with transport planning and highway advice on a wide range of projects across a variety of sectors across the UK.
As a Transport Planner, the position includes taking a key role in the preparation, writing, reviewing and delivery of Transport Assessments/Transport Statements, Travel Plans and other key documents. It also includes assisting with the technical delivery of development planning projects and assisting senior members of staff when advising clients.
Requirements of the role:
- A relevant degree
- Knowledge of government transport policy and guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of working with Junctions 9/10, TRICS and TEMPRO
- Experience using AutoCAD and AutoTrack is desirable
