An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Traffic Manager to join a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major highways projects across East Anglia.

This role will see you supporting the safe and compliant delivery of temporary traffic management operations across a range of high-profile schemes, working closely with operational teams, supply chain partners, local authorities, and stakeholders.

The Role:

  • Oversee temporary traffic management activities across highways projects
  • Manage network occupancy, TTRO applications, and traffic management compliance
  • Coordinate supply chain partners, Traffic Safety Supervisors, and Temporary Works Designers
  • Review traffic management drawings, RAMS, inspections, and site audits
  • Support incident and emergency planning across live schemes
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and police to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Ensure minimal disruption to road users and surrounding communities

Requirements:

  • Strong experience within Temporary Traffic Management and highways infrastructure
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and compliance requirements
  • SMSTS qualified (minimum)
  • NEBOSH or IOSH desirable
  • CSCS Managers Card
  • NHSS 12A TSCO or NHSS 12 R...
