Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in major civil engineering works? Salary: £65,000 to £80,000 plus London weighting allowance. Essex, office attendance minimum of 3 days per week.

This position sits within a specialist commercial consultancy that is regularly appointed into senior commercial and change roles on some of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes. The business is known for its strong NEC expertise, proactive commercial approach, and ability to influence project outcomes in complex, high-pressure environments.

You’ll be embedded within a major delivery team, taking responsibility for high-value civil engineering packages while also supporting complex change management, compensation events and wider commercial strategy under NEC contracts.

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within heavy civil infrastructure projects (typically 6+ years’ experience), ideally on large, complex programmes
  • Background working for a main or principal contractor (strong subcontractor backgrounds also considered)
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Strong NEC3 or NEC4 contract experience, particularly Options A and C
  • Experience managing high-value, complex commercial packages
