Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Bridge/Structures Inspector in Nottinghamshire As an experienced Bridge Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and recording a range of structures, including bridges, drainage pipes, and other infrastructure. You will ensure that structures are accurately recorded in the system and identify any that may require additional inspections or maintenance. The main duties of the Bridge Inspector are: ·Locate and inspect structures across rural sites using grid references and location plans. ·Record detailed structural information to update the database. ·Conduct routine bridge inspections on overdue structures. ·Work independently and traverse rough terrain, sometimes in close proximity to public highways. ·Ensure all inspections comply with safety standards and regulations. ·Provide detailed reports on the condition of the structures inspected. ·Work closely with other team members to ensure accurate and thorough inspections are completed on time. The Bridge Inspector will have key experience in: ·Proven experience as a Bridge Inspector or Structures Inspector ·Comfortable working independently in various weather conditions and terrain. ·Own transport and appropriate PPE, including Hi-Vis for any highway-related work. ·Strong knowledge of bridge inspection techniques and structural assessments. ·Ability to work to deadlines and produce accurate inspection records.
