Interim Streetworks Officer Are you an experienced Streetworks professional looking for your next interim opportunity? A local authority in the West Midlands is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Streetworks Officer to join its Network Regulation Team and play a key role in supporting statutory duties, network management and regulatory compliance across the county. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact by helping coordinate streetworks, minimise disruption to the highway network and ensure compliance with key legislation and industry standards. You'll work alongside internal teams, utility companies, contractors and other stakeholders in a collaborative and varied environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of NRSWA functions, statutory duties and associated contractual obligations. Ensure compliance with the Traffic Management Act 2004, Network Management Duty and relevant Council policies. Support the contractor teams in meeting Streetworks, legislative, Safety, Health, Environment and Sustainability requirements. Coordinate and manage streetworks activities, working with utilities, contractors and internal stakeholders. Help minimise disruption to the highway network while maintaining effective regulatory compliance. Key Requirements: Proven experience in Streetworks and/or Network Management. Strong knowledge of NRSWA, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and associated regulations. Practical experience of streetworks permitting, coordination and compliance. Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
