Street works Inspector

Our client, a busy Council South of London, are currently looking for a NRSWA Inspector to join their Street Works team on a contract basis, to undertake both highways safety and NRSWA inspections.

Reporting to the Network Manager, you will work alongside a busy team of NRSWA Inspectors and Coordinators, ensuring all Street Works activities undertaken on the highway network are inspected and compliant.

Our client manages the highway network in a very busy, urban area; and previous experience undertaking NRSWA Inspections in a similar environment is essential.

As the successful Inspector, you will be responsible for undertaking systematic and ad‑hoc inspections of highways works, which will include investigations of street works, highway licences and potential infringements of the highway network. This will include undertaking site inspections in relation to both the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and the Highways Act 1980, proactively identifying non‑compliant sites.
