Stakeholder Liaison Officer Location: Southampton or Guildford Contract: Fixed Term Hours: 45 hours per week Salary: Competitive salary + car allowance Sector: Highways / Infrastructure We are currently recruiting for a Stakeholder Liaison Officer to support a major National Highways framework, working across projects in the Southampton and Guildford areas. This is a key role within the project team, acting as the central point of contact for customers, local authorities, National Highways and wider stakeholders. You will be responsible for keeping stakeholders informed of programme progress, upcoming works and any changes throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities ·Provide regular stakeholder updates around project progress, key milestones and traffic management phase changes. ·Manage and respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries and complaints. ·Prepare content for National Highways website updates and social media communications. ·Support the preparation of MP and Parliamentary briefings. ·Attend site for media interviews, including radio and TV where required. ·Help organise and attend Public Information Events ahead of construction works. ·Attend regular National Highways customer and network occupancy meetings to provide programme updates. ·Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, customers and other key stakeholders. About You The ideal candidate will have experience in a stakeholder engagement, communications or liaison role within highways, construction or major infrastructure. Experience of working with National Highways would be highly beneficial, particularly within Area 3, alongside knowledge of key local stakeholders such as Hampshire County Council. You should be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, able to produce clear written communications and comfortable representing a major infrastructure project in public-facing situations. National Highways / Area 3 experience is desirable but not essential
