Got project management / coordination experience? Worked in the nuclear industry? We have an excellent opportunity to join a design team liaising with site engineers to support the delivery of Hinkley Point C's (HPC) design to build projects.

The role

We're looking for an Engineer with project experience to join a major infrastructure project, helping to coordinate design, engineering, and construction activities. This is not a pure project manager role - it's ideal for someone from an engineering background (civil, mechanical, electrical, or similar) who has started to move into project delivery, coordination, and stakeholder management. You’ll play a key role in keeping projects organised, ensuring teams are aligned, and helping resolve issues to keep delivery on track.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating between engineering, design, and construction teams
  • Supporting the delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality targets
  • Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders across the project
  • Tracking progress and ensuring key activities are completed on time
  • Identifying risks and helping to resolve issues quickly
  • Supporting planning, scheduling, and reporting
  • Helping improve processes and ways of working

Experience required

  • Background in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or similar)
  • Around 2-6 years' experience in engineering or construction projects
  • Experience supporting or delivering projects (not necessarily leading them)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Keen to develop further into a project-focused role

Why apply?

  • Opportunity to work on one of the largest high-profile UK infrastructure projects ever
  • Clear progression into Project Engineer / Project Manager roles
  • Working closely with the lead organisation in the UK's nuclear industry
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
