An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a growing delivery team working across clean water reservoir and water treatment projects within the Thames Water network. The role will involve supervising day-to-day construction and maintenance activities on reservoir and clean water infrastructure schemes across London and occasionally the Thames Valley region. This position would suit candidates with a strong utilities or water sector background who are confident managing subcontractors, site safety, quality, and programme delivery on live operational sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities across clean water and reservoir projects
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high-quality standard
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors
- Deliver site briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS compliance
- Maintain site records, diaries, permits, and allocation sheets
- Monitor health & safety, environmental, and quality compliance
- Liaise with operational teams, engineers, and project management staff
- Support planning and delivery of works across multiple sites
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within utilities or water infrastructure
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- EUSR Water Hygiene
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience working on clean water, reservoirs, or treatment works preferred
- Good understanding of civils and maintenance works including:
- Concrete repairs
- Waterproofing
- Drainage
- Pipework installations/modifications
