Responsibilities
- Lead on-site delivery with responsibility for civil engineering works in a water environment, ensuring safety, quality, budget control, and programme milestones are consistently met.
- Oversee daily site operations and lead civil delivery activities across water capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and lead daily safety briefings.
- Carry out temporary works and lifting inspections.
- Manage quality control from start to finish, delivering defect-free outcomes.
- Monitor spend, control plant hire/off-hire, and manage material procurement.
- Identify and report commercial issues early; raise EWNs and TQs as needed.
- Report weekly SHE returns and maintain thorough site records.
- Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring a collaborative and respectful work culture.
About You
- Proven Site Agent or Senior Site Supervisor experience, ideally in the water sector.
- Strong background in civils including RC structures, deep excavations, trenchless methods, and operational water sites.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
- CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid, EUSR SHEA Water, Confined Space Temporary Works Supervisor.
- Clean UK driving licence.
