Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis of building projects across a variety of sectors.
- Work with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry materials to create efficient and safe structures.
- Produce detailed design drawings and calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver well-coordinated, high-quality solutions.
- Attend site inspections and meetings to review progress and maintain technical standards throughout construction.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MSc).
- 6+ years’ experience in structural design, ideally across a variety of materials and building types.
- Solid working knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.
- Proficiency with structural design software (e.g., Tekla, TEDDS, Etabs, etc.) and AutoCAD.
- A proactive mindset, great communication skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
