Overview
Carrington West are assisting their local authority client in London in the search for a Local Land Charges Officer to join their Town Planning Department on an initial 6 month contract, then rolling. The main purpose of the role is to assist in the day-to-day running of an efficient and effective Local Land Charges service, providing search results and ensuring deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Register and assess land charges searches, interpreting the search request against records held on the land charges register and other planning systems.
- Dispatch completed search result documents, integrating information supplied by other departments.
- Update and maintain the land charges register with new charges and removal of charges where required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
- Support the team and junior staff members.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role and the ability to hit the ground running while supporting and guiding other staff.
Pay Rate £25-35 per hour (DOE).
