The Opportunity:
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer based in Aldershot, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of development-related projects, with a particular focus on highways and drainage design. You will play a key role in delivering innovative and practical solutions, whilst collaborating with experienced colleagues and directly engaging with clients.
This role offers more than just technical design work, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, mentor junior engineers, and grow your skills in leadership and client management.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Deliver technical highways and drainage designs, including support for S104, S38 and S278 applications.
Produce drainage strategies and flood risk assessments for development projects.
Check drawings, reports, and outputs produced by junior engineers.
Liaise with clients and project managers, presenting information with confidence.
Manage projects with moderate supervision, ensuring deadlines and high standards are consistently met.
Keep up to date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
What We\’re Looking For:
We\’re seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who is motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to developing their career in civil engineering. You will have the opportunity to thrive if you bring:
A degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
Proven UK experience in highways and drainage design.
Strong working knowledge of design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets, Sewers for Adoption, etc.).
Experience with S38, S278, and S104 processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civils 3D, plus experience with Microdrainage and/or Causeway Flow.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
A full UK driving licence (as some site visits may be required).
