We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estates Surveyor to join a public sector organisation in Warwickshire on an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will support the management of a varied property portfolio, providing professional estates advice and helping to maximise the performance and value of the organisation's assets.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, rent reviews and negotiations
- Undertaking valuations, property inspections and general estates management work
- Providing professional property and commercial advice to internal stakeholders
- Supporting acquisitions, disposals and asset management initiatives
- Negotiating terms with landlords, tenants and other third parties
- Managing a varied caseload and ensuring work is delivered within agreed timescales
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience working within estates, property or asset management
- A solid understanding of landlord and tenant matters
- Experience managing commercial property portfolios
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Public sector or local authority experience would be advantageous
