Senior Planning Enforcement Officer – Town Planning Department (Contract)Carrington West is assisting its local authority client in Oxfordshire in their search for a Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to join the Town Planning department. This role is offered on an initial 3‐month contract, then rolling.
Key Responsibilities
Enforce planning regulations across both urban and rural areas, including handling complex enforcement cases.
Conduct site visits and investigations as required.
Prepare enforcement case files and reports in line with council procedures.
Requirements
Experienced enforcement professional with a proven track record.
Access to a personal vehicle and availability for occasional site visits.
Beneficial to hold a RTPI accredited Planning Degree or equivalent planning qualification and/or prior relevant experience.
Capacity to start almost immediately and respond to short‐notice interviews.
RemunerationPay Rate – £50 per hour (DOE)
