I'm working with a client that is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to join its senior leadership team in Glasgow. This is a key appointment within an established business that delivers civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Scotland. The successful candidate will play a leading role in driving commercial performance, supporting operational teams and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from a commercial perspective. The Role
Reporting into the senior management team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the commercial function across a portfolio of projects, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders. Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the commercial management of multiple infrastructure projects.
- Supporting project teams with commercial advice and decision-making.
- Managing client and subcontractor relationships.
- Negotiating contracts and resolving commercial matters.
- Monitoring project performance, costs and profitability.
- Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
