Are you an experienced Requirements Engineer with strong systems and integration knowledge? Do you enjoy bringing structure and clarity to complex rail programmes?
Rate: £500 to £680 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract length: Initial 12 months, with strong potential for annual renewal
Location: London (hybrid 3 days per week in the office)
You will be supporting a major rail infrastructure and electrification programme, working as part of the Systems and Integration team on a long-term project spanning design through to testing and commissioning.
Reporting to the Systems and Integration Lead, you will take ownership of requirements management activities, ensuring the technical baseline is robust, traceable, and fully aligned with programme and stakeholder needs.
Essential Requirements- Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer on large rail or infrastructure programmes.
- Strong capability in establishing and managing requirements baselines and V&V matrices.
- Excellent working knowledge of IBM DOORS and Excel.
- Experience managing requirements across full technical lifecycles.
- Ability to interface with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Experience working on major rail electrification or systems programmes.
- Knowledge of systems integration environments and assurance processes.
