Are you an experienced Operations Administrator or Co-ordinator with a background in construction, looking for a varied role supporting busy site and operational teams? My client is a well-established construction business seeking an organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day running of its projects and site operations. You will play a key role in keeping labour, plant, purchasing and site information organised and up to date.

This is an opportunity to join a busy construction environment where you will have a varied workload, work closely with site teams and become an important part of the wider operations function.

As an Operations Administrator, you will be:

  • Maintaining subcontractor timesheets and ensuring records are accurate and up to date
  • Managing information received from the company's site app and ensuring relevant data is recorded correctly
  • Maintaining daily operational calendars and schedules
  • Booking plant, equipment and direct labour for live projects
  • Supporting purchasing activities across the business
  • Raising and managing purchase orders, including POs for plant, materials and services
  • Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments
  • Monitoring operational paperwork and maintaining accurate project records
  • Supporting the coordination of labour and resources across different sites
  • Assisting with general administration and operational tasks as required

To be considered for this Operations Administrator position, you will need:

  • Previous administration, coordination or operations experience within the construction industry
  • Experience dealing with subcontractors, site teams or construction-related suppliers
