Are you an Earthworks Examiner with COSS and IWA competencies?

Do you have experience of conducting examinations on Network Rail assets?

Location: York

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £400 - £425/day

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Earthworks Examiner to support the Geotechnical team in planning, managing and undertaking earthworks examinations across the Network Rail infrastructure.

Other responsibilities include closing out any rejected exams, providing feedback and carrying out 'on site' work safely, which means valid COSS and IWA competencies are essential for this position.

Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work will be heavily desirable for this role.

Requirements:

  • Track record of carrying out earthworks examinations within a live rail environment.
  • Proven experience in Soil Slope Examinations and Rock Slope Examinations.
  • Valid COSS / IWA competency.
  • Knowledge of relevant planning systems.
