Have you worked on major rail infrastructure projects and supported delivery through both development and implementation phases? Do you have experience managing stakeholders and project risks to Network Rail standards?

Location: York or Manchester (3 days per week in the office)

Rate: 321/day Umbrella

Contract Length: 3 months +

A client organisation is seeking two Assistant Project Managers to support the successful delivery of major rail infrastructure projects. Working within a complex programme environment, you will play a key role in coordinating project activities, managing stakeholders, supporting commercial functions and helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme objectives. This position offers exposure to large-scale rail projects from development through to implementation and would suit an experienced project professional looking to further develop their career within a major infrastructure organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of major rail projects through development and implementation stages
  • Assist with project planning, reporting and governance activities
  • Support project safety management and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external stakeholders
  • Support commercial and contract management activities
  • Monitor project risks, issues and opportunities
  • Assist with budget tracking
