Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to work on highways and infrastructure schemes that make a real impact on local communities? A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Cardiff team, supporting the delivery of highways, bridges and civil engineering projects across South Wales.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the commercial delivery of highways and infrastructure projects
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets and financial forecasts
- Administer NEC contracts, including variations and compensation events
- Produce CVRs and commercial reports
- Support procurement and tender processes
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, local authorities and contractors
- Identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
What You'll Need
- Experience within highways or civil engineering projects
- Strong NEC contract knowledge
- Excellent communication and commercial skills
- Experience in Quantity Surveying or commercial management
- Professional qualifications are desirable
