What You Will Be Doing
- Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Transport Reports
- Producing Travel Plans and supporting planning applications
- Undertaking transport and traffic analysis
- Assisting with highway access assessments and feasibility studies
- Supporting masterplanning and development planning projects
- Liaising with clients, local authorities and project stakeholders
- Assisting with the preparation of technical reports and presentations
- Contributing to project delivery from inception through to completion
- Supporting senior team members on larger and more complex schemes
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience within Transport Planning or Development Planning
- Knowledge of Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans
- Understanding of the UK planning process
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Experience using transport planning software would be beneficial
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Membership or progression towards a relevant professional institution would be advantageous
